About Forster

Forster Chan is a wedding and commercial photographer located in Toronto. He began taking photos after picking up his first DSLR over 15 years ago. Starting off by just taking photos for his own artistic pleasures and also as the go-to photographer in his high school, he eventually studied at York University, as well as worked for the York University Lions Varsity Athletics department where he was able to document and capture moments from some of the biggest Varsity Athletics games played amongst Canada's top universities.

After graduating York University, he managed multiple restaurants in Toronto and the GTA, and also worked corporate as an Operations Manager for a large restaurant conglomerate. Through this time in the food industry, he continued to hone his aesthetic eye, photographing anything that came his way.

Fast forward 7 years in the food industry, learning all the ins and outs of running and managing a business from the top down while delivering the ultimate customer service experience, he was finally able to take the leap and transfer all those skills to begin his long awaited career as a full-time photographer.

He currently owns and manages Wedding Editorials, one of Toronto's top choice for editorial style wedding photography.

In his free time, you can find him with his wife camping, gardening eating, or making fresh pasta.
